Rachel Maddow Has a New Book and We Have a Copy for You

Rachel Maddow emailed me.

That is not actually true at all, but one day I may be able to say that. And on that day, I will give you all a free vegan, gluten-free cupcake.

Her publicist, however, did email me and asked if I wanted to review and then host a giveaway of Drift: The Unmooring of American Military Power,Maddow’s new book all about how war is bad and constant war is even worse.

Our beloved Rachel describes the book a bit more eloquently in her YouTube promo clip that you should watch because I have about seventeen times:

If that doesn’t get you excited about this book, her author photo definitely will.

Photo by Bill Phelps, I'm totally jealous of him now.

Both SIGNED copies of Drift (oh yeah, Ms. Maddow touched them) will be arriving tomorrow and I’ll post the review and host the giveaway as soon as I can stop staring at her author photo.

Drift by Rachel Maddow comes out March 27 and is available to pre-order on Amazon, but you should instead pre-order it from Powell’s because supporting independent bookstores is very important.
