The Inevitable BlogHer ’12 Round-Up, aka Pictures of us in NYC

You knew it was coming. After a big event, it’s inevitable to have a round-up/summary of how it went, especially when you’re dealing with a narcissistic blogger like me.

But along with being a narcissist, I’m also kinda lazy, or at least I am when I’ve spent a week having fun instead of sleeping. So, instead of the wordy decompressing we usually do, I thought I’d just share with you all the photos I took at then you can put the story together yourself, saving me the time I need to catch up on Tru Blood (OMG Tara is soooo hot this season).

Wanna know more or hear what I said about sex blogging and/or the business of blogging? Check out BlogHer ’12 virtualcon. They’ve got a lot of great information up over there and will soon have transcripts of my talks.

Speaking of my talks, can I just take a moment (don’t say no, it’s my blog, I can do whatever I want!) to thank everyone who came out to my panel, stopped me in the hall to say hello, danced with me even though I kept spilling my drink, waited an hour (Yes an hour!) to chat with me after my panel and overall just made me feel like a loved rockstar all week long. I love you. All of you. No really, all of you. I love you all.

A blogger I admire (I’m not naming her for anonymity sake) came up to me on my last night at BlogHer and told me that she loves my blog because she feels like she belongs here, like there’s a place for everyone, queer, straight, prude, slut and everything in between, on this site. That was the best compliment ever. Yes, there is a place for you all here and I hope you feel as welcomed as she does. We love you all.

I love you all.

If you’re open to talking about sex, we’re happy to have you here. If you’re shy, well then we’re even happier you came by. If at any time you want to give us feedback, suggest a topic, or just say hi, email info[at]queeriebradshaw.com. We’d love to hear from you. We love you all.

Ok, enough of that sappy shit, on to the pictures! (I’m sorry about some being huge. I can’t figure out why it’s doing that…)

I love that photo of you on the erotica panel – passionate and forthright. Like a women’s sexuality freedom fighter – fist raised! That was the most fun and interesting panel discussion I attended at BlogHer. Thank you

    • Ha! I’m the Rosie the Riveter of sex. Thanks for the compliment and I’m so glad you attended, and seemed to have enjoyed, the panel. It really was a great group and we had a fun time.

We'd love to hear what you think... Leave a comment!
