Do you like piña coladas? I sure do! Not until recently though. It was my Memorial Day Philosophization Vacation trip to Waikiki that had me sold on this slushy coconut and pineapple goodness.
While floating around the ocean on my inner tube one day I thought, “Hmm. It would be so the ultimate awesome to make my own piña coladas. Organic and high quality ones. Ooh, a project!” Obviously I had no idea how easy these are to make at the time. Now I know! And in about ten seconds you’ll know, too.
Piña Colada Recipe
- 2 cups ice
- 1/4 cup coconut cream
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup chopped pineapple
- 1/2 light or dark rum
Okay, brace yourselves for how easy this is. Dump all the stuff listed above in a blender and frappé the heck out of it. And there you have it! This will make 2-3 piña coladas. Add an umbrella and a warm sunny day and you’ve just created the ultimate staycation. Have fun, folks!
