Weiner to Resign Over Fear of his Large Penis

According to CNN, Rep. Anthony Weiner of New York may soon resign over what is being called his “sexting scandal” in which he accidentally tweeted “lewd” pictures of himself to the whole internet, instead of direct messaging the consenting adult with whom he had been engaging in “sexy talk”.

Weiner didn’t attempt to rape this girl like IMF agent DSK, he didn’t sexually harass her – and many others – in his work place like Arnold, he didn’t hire a prostitute like Vitter. In other words, he didn’t break the law because an adult sending a lewd picture of himself to another consenting adult is not a crime (thankfully!). Yet, according to a Google Trends search, Weiner has gotten more attention in the media, especially online, than the illegal scandals mentioned above.

That attention is bad politics, so, according to CNN, Obama called for Weiner’s resignation, saying his scandal (a.k.a. his penis) was distracting for the party. In other words, Obama is intimidated by the power of Weiner’s penis. Apparently, so is the rest of the Democratic party, the American news media, religious zealots and pretty much anyone over the age of 40. The rest of us couldn’t care less if this guy wants to send a consenting woman pics of his (rather large) penis, we’d just prefer him to learn to use Twitter properly.
