Mixed Tape Mondays: Songs We Wanted to Make Out When We Were 15

Welcome to Mixed Tape Mondays. A day where we celebrate just how much we love a cheesy, heartfelt, emotionally charged playlist.

This week’s playlist: songs we wanted to make out to when we were 15.

By fifteen I had touched a penis, made out with multiple people in spin the bottle and totally got felt up all the time in Truth or Dare, yet I was still a virgin, something I fantasized about changing. More than that, though, I just wanted a really good make out session accompanied by really good music – or at least music I thought at the time was really good. As you can tell, I had quite a varied array of make out music options.

Here’s a sampling of some of the music I fantasized making out to when I was fifteen.

Red Light Special – TLC

Say It Aint So – Weezer

Cherry Cola – Savage Garden

Faith – Limp Bizkit

Song 2 – Blur

One Headlight – The Wallflowers

1979 – Smashing Pumpkins

I’ll Make Love to You – Boyz II Men

Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Deep Blue Something

Bittersweet Symphony – The Verve

Crash Into Me – Dave Matthews Band

Bump N’ Grind – R. Kelly

All My Life – K-Ci & JoJo
