By now it is no secret that I am quite the fan of a whiskey cocktail. Pretty much any whiskey cocktail. Or any decent whiskey on the rocks, for that matter. Whiskey is warm, wonderful, and helpful with philosophizations. This gorgeous cocktail hails from the wonderful Nihon. Behold the White Manhattan.
It isn’t completely white because it has red vermouth in it. However, this deliciously smooth Manhattan was made with white whiskey. Added to the mix were Carpano Antica, bitters, and of course, a house-brandied cherry. So good. My goodness. Smooth and perfect. Thank you, Nihon!
