As we discussed last week, June was Manhattan Month without even knowing it. While the classic bourbon and sweet vermouth Manhattan will always be my favorite, I felt it only fair that we at least mention the Dry Manhattan. The difference is here is dry vermouth instead of sweet and olives instead of cherries. It’s surely interesting to try. Also very shocking if you’re used to classic Manhattans as I am!
Dry Manhattan Cocktail
- 1 part dry vermouth
- 2 parts bourbon
- olives
Put olives in your glass. Pour vermouth and bourbon into a shaker with ice and stir. Strain over olives. Drink up!
